Biography
Irishman Patrick Campbell-Lyons is best known for founding Nirvana (the U.K. band of the 1960s, that is…), but before doing so he teamed up with Christopher Thomas for two singles for the President label under the moniker Hat and Tie: 'Chance for Romance' b/w 'California Jazz Club U.S.A.' (1966) and 'Bread to Spend' b/w 'Finding It Rough' (1967).
Christopher Thomas later became an in-demand producer, working with The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Queen, Pete Townshend and Sex Pistols, to name but a few.
