This songs chorus is based on a sample of the chorus from a danish pop hit of 1981 also titled "Walkmand" which is a kind satire over the invasion of portable cassette players. The song was a hit for Michael Hardinger on a solo album he made as a sidekick to his career in the group Shu-bi-dua. The new track "Walkmand" ´s theme is how a pophit can stick on your mind, and the chorus thus functions as the example. Which is a cheap but quite clever little gimmick.
