At first, I actually didn't really like the change she made in her carreer by changing her name and her music. But now, listening to the album Don't Look Down, I can still find the old Holly Brook who I fell in love with in some songs. If you think she completely changed her style, try listening to "White Suburban": Holly is COMPLETELY there. She is one of the best voices I've ever met and I really do hope she will come to Brazil someday.

"All I Want Is Love" and "Man on the Mountaintop" - two of the best songs she's ever made.

@zackaryhope: I think they mean that they either like the name better or they like the specific music better.

Lmao. They are the same person, I don't know why some people are comparing her to herself. Jeez.

Keep both tags, Holly music is Holly's and Skylar's music is Skylar's. You wouldn't merge Selena Gomez + Selena Gomez & the Scene, even though the latter isn't really much of a band.

Skylar & Holly need to be merged. You personal opinions on her name change or her music as Skylar is irrelevant, she is now Skylar whether you like it or not. [3]

What is the name on the record that you all probably stole? HOLLY BROOK. What she does from here on out is Skylar Grey, totally different styles. Keep em separate, I love the HB music, SG music makes me scratch my head. Girls in a serious identity crisis, when is Invisible or Invinsible even coming out? Sounds terrible, hope she makes some $ then returns to her roots!

when an artist change her/his name, split the scrobblings making the charts awful, like [artist]The Rasmus[/artist] and [artist]Rasmus[/artist], or [artist]Aly & AJ[/artist] and [artist]78violet[/artist].

If Skylar is a building as beautiful as the CD Like Blood Like Honey, I'm very happy.

She's on every rapper's song are you actually being serious? She's making a lot of money on those tracks and fine but I just really hope she will go back to her "roots" (the girl has said Joni Mitchell's her idol) and makes music that is an extension of "Like Blood" and "O'Dark" one day. To deny this isn't like a natural musical progression and more of a marketing and thought out persona is stupid. If it pays the bills and she gets back to doing what she has a gift for (the singer-songwriter style) then I'll be happy. Her talent is absolutely undeniable. Dry (I'm Your River) crushes so hard...

She is undoubtedly a sellout... you don't land a deal with INTERSCOPE records in this day and age if they don't believe you're gonna make em money. To debate otherwise is absurd, labels are dying and they're only going with what they believe/know will sell.

@lvyxxo What exactly defines a ballad? ...In recent history generally those types of songs have been enormously successful (and are often chosen as singles)...

I mean, those tags should be united. You don't see Lady Gaga music being tagged with Stefani Germanotta. Or do you?
