San Francisco based three-piece funk/art-funk/modern soul band, consisting of RV Salters (keyboard/arrangement), Bart Davenport (Vox) and Tony Sevener "the human sequencer" (drum programming). They are signed to the indie / hip hop label affiliated with the group Blackalicious known as Quannum who released their debut album The Day I Turned To Glass on September 26, 2006. Salters has previously performed under the name General Elektriks, while Davenport has been a singer, with several solo releases as Bart Davenport and previously 3 records with Bay Area mod group The Loved Ones, and a 2004 outing with DJ Greyboy's Soul Mosaic. Honeycut have had their music placed in a commercial for Apple computer, and have been touring and playing as many high profile gigs as they can including Oakland's Art & Soul, SF's Treasure Island Festival, Austin's SXSW & Virgin Fest in Toronto to gain additional fans & commericial traction.
The song Exodus Honey has been used by Apple for both the aluminium iMac adverts and the Mac OS X Leopard introduction movie.
