Biography
Hoshimachi Suisei (星街すいせい) is a female Japanese Virtual YouTuber and singer associated with hololive Production. She debuted as an independent streamer on 22 March 2018, joining Hololive as the only member keeping an existing persona in May 2019. she is currently part of "hololive 0th Generation" alongside fellow solo debutants: Tokino Sora, Roboco, Sakura Miko and AZKi. She has since participated in hololive concerts and hololive IDOL PROJECT.Her activity consists primarily of live streaming herself singing karaoke, playing video games, or talking to her fans. She is particularly well known among fans for her skill at Tetris and her singing ability. As an independent vtuber, she released the original singles "comet" in 2018 and "天球、彗星は夜を跨いで (Tenkyuu, suisei wa yoru o mataide)", and as a hololive member she released "NEXT COLOR PLANET" in 2020. in 2021, she released "GHOST" as a single and 3 monthly EPs including "Bluerose", "駆けろ" (Kakero), "自分勝手Dazzling" (JibunkatteDazzling), "バイバイレイニー" (Bye Bye Rainy). Shortly after that, she announced her first album "Still Still Stellar" compiling her whole original songs with 4 additional songs and later released on 29th September 2021. Suisei's 2nd full length album, Specter, released 25 January 2023.
Suisei also releases music as a duo with Taku Inoue, under the name Midnight Grand Orchestra. Their first album, Overture released in 2022 and their second, Starpeggio is scheduled for a December 13th 2023 release.
