Biography
Hot Apple Band have given us ample time to dive into their tasteful blend of 1960/70s imbued soft rock, alt-country and folk. Fronted by two friends, Jack Kinder and Lewis Mosley, the duo weave a lush and authentic sound that channels the brilliance of iconic artists such as The Beatles, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young and Harry Nilsson into the modern day, much like Drugdealer, Weyes Blood and The Lemon Twigs.
Fitting with its title So Long, Noodle House, the duo’s debut is a symbolic sign-off on the band’s days as "Noodle House" and an exciting introduction to what’s to come from Hot Apple Band. The collection of 11 tracks covers broad ground, from colourful 70s alt-country and catchy Beatles-era pop, through to emotive folk and melodic rock. Coming-of-age themes run all through the songs, as Jack’s lyrics touch on life changes, friendships, love, shitty jobs and growing up.
