Hot Issue (stylized HOT ISSUE, Hangul: 핫이슈) was a seven-member girl group under S2 Entertainment. The group consisted of Nahyun, Mayna, Hyeongshin, Dana, Yewon, Yebin and Dain. Their group name stands as an abbreviation of "Honest, Outstanding and Terrific" + "Issue" and their official fandom name is SURE, an acronym for "Surely U (yours) Refulgently Ever". The name describes how Hot Issue and its fans will be together forever.

Sometime in 2020, S2 Entertainment was founded by Cube co-founder Hong Seung Sung. In November 2020, a news article announced the company and its plans to debut a girl group in the first half of 2021. Throughout the end of March 2021, the seven members were announced through teaser pictures and on April 28, 2021, Hot Issue debuted with their mini-album Issue Maker with the title track Gratata.

On September 29, 2021, they made their comeback with the single-album Icons with title track Icons.

Days before their first anniversary as Hot Issue, S2 Entertainment announced the group would be disbanding and that all members had terminated their contracts.
