Biography
After surviving a brutish, nasty and brief marriage, the core members of Hotter Than A Crotch (guitar abuser Buck Bin Nasty and ex-wife Gloria Holer) set aside their differences and joined forces in order to make the world safe again for rock. Since recording their debut, the much-anticipated Soul Pumper 7" the band has gone on to prove themselves as one of the most important and sexy glam/punk outfits in the underground scene. Playing constantly, and turning heads from SF to New York City, Hotter Than A Crotch has become notorious for their epic live performances and one-of-a-kind stage antics, ripped straight from the heart of torment.
Musically, the band escapes traditional punk modes by infusing raging, angular riffs with avant garde flare and awkward, brainiac songwriting while singer Gloria Holer serves up captivating, unadulterated soul with a breathy belt rarely seen outside of Motown or Stax. They've so captivated the Northwest music scene that filming has recently begun on a Hotter Than A Crotch documentary (Red Mango Films). The band now lives in Brooklyn, where they continue to pimp the struggle. They hustle hard and grind daily, relentlessly promoting their new releases and their fledgling label Fish Ruler Records.
