A few years ago, I thought this band would be booooooooooming now! They're still super rad, why aren't they boooooooooooooming?!

i generally expect bands of this nature to have a relatively small following and plays, but jesus... i can't believe no one is listening to these guys... Sole Lord wasn't amazing but Beyond the Lightless Sky is quality... Earth From Water and False priest are brilliant

bought the Viking Funeral ep from them last night, but I'm afraid to break the wax seal.. the power that lurks within may devour my soul

Beyond The Lightless Sky got like zero attention from people. [2] Miles away from Sole Lord, which was good in it's own right. Brilliant album...bright future. Chester Bennington? GTFO. Great live as well...

go see them live. if you have any doubt as to their awesomeness, their live show will eliminate it. they opened and closed with parts of Viking Funeral. icing on the cake, my friends.

When I saw this band it honestly changed my entire idea of music. Fucking godlike live. I've got Sole Lord and it's good but nothing near the live experience, not even close. The recording really obliterates the vocals, unfortunately, and the heaviness isn't really maintained throughout. Anyway, if you're into this, definitely see them live. Oh, and check out Samothrace.

I've given Sole Lord a first listen, and while I think its ok, personally I'm not going overboard about it. When it gets heavy, it is heavy, but unfortunately the heaviness is very spasmodic and is overcome by mastodon like "noodling' If I had to listen to this kind of music, then I'd go for Humanfly instead. Maybe it'll grow on me more after a few more listens.

I really dig Sole Lord but the vocals lack in some spots. Though I do like the fact that there are vocal harmonies. Not enough heavy bands these days exploring the awesome sound of harmonizing highs and lows. Good vocal harmonies give me chills. These guys got a couple of good ones.

Sole Lord is pretty damn good, the only thing I don't care for about it is the vocals.
