Biography

Hy-Fy is a pop/rock band formed in Santos, São Paulo, Brazil in 2006.

Through a contemporary sound that fuses the melodic pop with the energy of rock, the band created HyFY in Santos / SP, the birthplace of bands established as Charlie Brown Jr. and Garage Fuzz among others, began operations in 2006 to carry out serious work and able to fight for a place in the national music scene.

In the same year they released the EP "Rockstar" co produced by Brit … to Marcao (Marcao - Cbjr band's guitarist) containing four songs, thus beginning to make a massive dissemination on the Internet through various websites. They got a lot of recognition in your city and region, São Paulo, São Paulo state and the Interior, playing with greats like NXZero, Hateen, Fresno, Pitty, Strike, Detonautas, D2 and other outside interests in medium and large festivals such as the GAS Festival (Guarana Street Festival-2007) which were selected from among 2,000 bands for a specific jury. The same year also represented the young audience in the delivery of the 6th edition of the Brazilian Young Award. On 12/12/07 got a great result, appearing in the Journal of MTV Live.

Starting point would be the name of the EP of three songs that would launch in the first half of 2008, however, came the opportunity to produce a debut ever, thanks to the partnership and alliance signed with the HyFY Patolla Thaddeus, renowned music producer (Charlie Brown Jr., Allies, Bikini Cavadão among others) receiving merit in both cases.

Patolla who was contacted by the band's HyFY consider the material with the potential for success. He heard some music and after some time has offered to be the producer of the band.
The CD was completed in late 2008 titled "Starting Point" and had its video debut with the song "This time" taking first place in mid-June 2009 on the website of MTV, and the constant presence in programming at the same time.

Unfortunately by personal differences between members, the band announced it would stop performing at the end of 2009 without a forecast for its return.

In March of 2011 the band's lead singer and founder Helen Zanovello after great encouragement from fans, friends and also from Patolla announced Hy-Fy's return to the stage with new members. It is now waiting for the news and achievements of the band on this new phase.
