Biography
After graduating the local school of art (classical guitar section) in 1997, HYPNOTIC HOUR (Emil Oprea) started to study jazz music and listen to all kinds of genres. He played with many instruments at home, descovering the music: classical and electric guitar, piano, flutes. In 1999 he began to play rock music with the bass guitar in a local band called Balcanic. The chance to work in a radio station from year 2000 until 2002 made him listen mostly to electronic music, such as Prodigy, Leftfield, Crystal Method, BT. After year 2002 he was bass guitarist in another band called FM. In the same time he was doing a lot of experiments with electronic music. Starting with 2006 he created 2 different music projects: one called Perfect Sin, based on chill out/lounge music, and another one called HYPNOTIC HOUR, based on progressive house. He began to remix tracks also.
