Biography
«I'm Jim Morrison, I'm Dead» is independent post-punk/experimental band from South Ural.
The band started at the end of 2012 by recording some covers and consisting of two members and a drum-machine. The title for the band was taken from the instrumental composition with the same name by Mogwai.
The duo combines cold and dry 80s-punk-style bass and mechanical monotonous drum machine with clean, deep reverberated melancholic guitar which sometimes bounces to raw distorted noise made by bow (yeah, using bow at guitar as one of main things).
At the end of Novemeber 2013 the band did their first single, and in March 2014 the debut full-length album, which can be downloaded for free at bandcamp http://www.ijmid.bandcamp.com/.
