IC Rex was born in 2003 in when Cinatas (formerly in Tunrida) decided to create a solo project. After a demo called Lunar Possession (2004), the first full length album Sielun Kadotuksen Sinfonia was Released in 2005. The second album Valonkantajan Alkemia was released in 2008, the third album Vedenjakaja was released in 2009, and the fourth album Tulen jumalat in 2017.
