Biography
In the Audience is an Indie Pop band from Portland, Maine. They formed in March of 2008 as a casual recording and performing outlet for singer and multi-instrumentalist Jordan Stowell. The band began to pick up speed in June of 2009. Since then, they have been played on radio stations in multiple states in the U.S. They have performed in-store acoustic sessions/meet and greets in Maine and New Hampshire at popular clothing/lifestyle stores Hot Topic and the Gap. The band has been selected to perform at music festivals in New Hampshire and Massachusetts and are set to appear on the upcoming tribute/covers album of Barry Louis Polisar (whose song "All I Want Is You" was used as during the opening credits of the movie "Juno"). The band has played with bands on many record labels (Geffen, Fearless, Drive-Thru, etc.) and have released two iTunes exclusive singles (released in U.S., Canada, U.K., Japan, and Australia/New Zealand).
