Incredible album. I think it have just one flaw, compared to the first two releases and it is the vocals of Corchado. While still solid and very good growling, when you compare it to this mighty beast Craig Pillard, you can see how good he is. Especially on "Mortal Throne..." Pillard fucking kills. Thank god for Disma these days.

Okay, 10 years later - while I would still take Craig Pillard's vocals any time, especially on Mortal Throne, I would not come as far as to say that Corchado's vocals are a flaw. On the contrary, they fit the album's atmosphere pretty well.

and this, kids, is what you have when you put in the same band the fella who wrote Onward To Golgotha and Mortal Throne Of The Nazarene, the fella from The Chasm and a drummer with moustache

This was the first incantation album I listened, I bought it several years ago without knowing a thing about this band. I was amazed by the production. One of the most evil and obscure albums ever created in DM.

Oh, those sick pummeling riffs... I am very fond of the atmosphere they achieved here, this is evil itself! And one must love Daniel Corchado vocals... Diabolical Conquest is a crushing experience and definitively a highlight in Incantation discography.
