Only Indica is stoner/doom Indica. Indica Blues from UK is good band, also. \m/

A Way Away is a compilation of their greatest hits from their four previous albums but in a worst version, singing in English and with orchestral arrangements. Really Ikuinen Virta, Tuuliset Tienoot, Kadonnut Puutarha, Valoissa, Pähintä tänään - Kokoelma (The Compilation of Greatest Hits in Finnish with some bonus tracks) and Akvaario are better than A Way Away and Shine.

I like both version, but I believe Akvaario is better then Shine (and I most certainly do NOT speak Finnish). All-in-All a good solid addition to Indica's catalog. If you where a BIG fan of A way Away you may not 'shine' to this right away, it's not as 'poppy' or commercial, but give it a few listens, sit down with some good speakers or quality headphones and just listen, you will be hooked!

Shine is rather boring compared to A Way Away. It lacks the sparkle and brilliant production. A bad move not using Tuomas.

I'm rejoicing! I'm also really glad they dropped the symphonic aspect, heading back into their straight pop rock sound. Shine is much better than A Way Away, and Akvaario is enjoyable. Akvaario still isn't on par with Tuuliset tienoot or Kadonnut puutarha, but it fits comfortably with the other two Finnish albums. I'm satisfied, even if I'm not blown away.

Better to give "Akvaario" a spin, then. Because, simply put, it is a fantastic album. Obviously it doesn't come anywhere close to the grandeur of "Kadonnut puutarha", but then again, that album is such a magnum opus that it would be pointless to try and reach for something similar again. Instead, they offer us something different and fresh... And what a joy it is to hear that they have reattained the authentic Indica spirit again, albeit now presenting itself in a reformed way. I'm glad that they decided to lose the graceless symphonic metal outfit, and that they decided to record the album in Finnish again. At some point I doubted whether it could ever happen, but indeed it now is reality that Indica is back after their little escapade. Let us rejoice!

Not really impressed by "Shine". Roland Spremberg is tryin' to make new Schlager/Unheilig puppets of them. However, Jonsu's voice is still unique and the lyrics are fine as well but some songs cannot shine because of their arrangements. Mmh, at least I'll get a new album by Within Temptation next month. A Way Away >>>>> Shine.
