Innersoul The Theory was written in 94 and released in 96 by the indie label Mix-it-up Rec. The name innersoul was created by christopher sawyer in 1989. The music he orignally wanted to do was a mixture of the house group inner city and the UK based Group Soul2Soul hence innersoul, but his rhyming skills were better than his singing, and him being a member of the break dance crew Rock Boys, and Zulu Nation it seem only fitting that he do hip hop. He got his opportunity through his talent for dancing, which got him notice by a man named Mike Barbarise who had a RB singer named Muarice that he used to dance for. One day he went to mike with a demo tape that wasn't that good, but mike saw the potiental and the rest, as they say is history.
