Isabella Summers (born 31 October 1980 in Hackney, England), also known as Isabella ‘Machine’ Summers or Isa Machine, is a British songwriter, producer, remixer and member of British indie rock band Florence + The Machine. As well as being the keyboard player for Florence + The Machine, Summers has five co-write credits on the critically acclaimed, BRIT award winning Lungs. Isabella also has three co-writes on the album Ceremonials. She is also a founding member of the band The Life, The Love and The Grateful and is in the progress of co-writing and producing their debut album.

With a DJ foundation Isabella, worked with Dan Greenpeace on his radio show at XFM during her time at art school. This led to Isabella buying an MPC. Starting a studio in Crystal Palace, Isabella started making HipHop. During this time, Isa worked with people including, Kashmere The Iguana Man, IRS Crew, MBC Crew, Inja and The Last Skeptic. She met Florence and moved from producing little-known UK rap artists to writing songs with Florence and before long Florence and Isabella became an act called Florence Robot/Isa Machine before evolving into the critically-acclaimed Florence +The Machine. When not on tour with Florence + The Machine, Summers spends her time writing, producing and remixing tracks for an array of artists. Her most notable remixes include Beyonce's song, Countdown.
