Released as the second single from The Last Temptation, Mesmerize is one of Ja Rule’s most-remembered hits and peaked at number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100. Produced by Irv Gotti and sung as a duet with frequent collaborator Ashanti, the song was their fourth top ten hit as a duet. The music video is a homage to the movie musical Grease.
