The Jay-Jay's started around 1960 as the Jumping Jewels. They had lots of succes in Holland and France with their guitar instrumentals and accompanying Johnny Lion. In 1966 they made some great beat singles, being called the Jay-Jays. The Jay-Jays had hits with cover versions of "Bald Headed Woman", "Got Love If You Want It" and "Respect".
