Jeff Bowen started out like many young musicians playing in his Dads band on a regular basis at age 11, where he learned bass, lead, rhythm, drums and piano. He listened and learned his chops from all the greats in country, pop, rock and soul music coming through his AM radio when he was a kid. Today he still gets together with the surviving members of his Dad’s band on a regular basis.

After many years of live gigging up and down the east coast he settled in Nashville, TN to work with Walter Haynes, of MCA Records, where Walt took him under his wing and helped draw out this natural talent… Jeff has worked on projects from LIL Jimmy Dickens, commercials for TV and scoring industrial films for NASA. Jeff has opened for, or worked with many music acts in the industry such as John Anderson, Sammy Kershaw, Hot Apple Pie, LONESTAR, Peter Frampton, Randy Houser, Tanya Tucker, T. Gram Brown, Porter Wagoneer, Dolly Parton, Band of Oz, Ricochet,, Wind Swept Pacific, just to name a few. He has worked with national sponsors such as Disney, Harley Davidson, Wanner-Chappel Publishing, SST (Nashville) and many others.

He has over 20 years of experience in the studio making demos and masters for the music industry. In 2006, Jeff took his talents to Virginia and opened Sunset Hills Studio, where he has immersed himself in the local music scene, offering local song writers a vehicle to record demos in rock, soul, R&B, rap and country. He has served as a judge for a local talent contest. When not working with local music talent he can be found creating sequences for his local solo act that offers the versatility of his unique vocal range, from the high notes of the 80’s hair bands to the soulful notes of Luther Vandross. He doesn’t stop there, his band 10lb Biscuit is getting ready to hit the local college scene.

Jeff has spent his whole life in this business we call music Jeff excels at finding or writing the right song for the artist he’s producing. His passion for writing music draws off his close family ties, strong loyalties and bittersweet lessons life teaches us all. Music scores have become a natural progression born from his love of movies which feeds his innate sense of humor that leaves his family, friends and business associates longing for the next Jeff Bowen encounter.

Jeff in his down time enjoys his family, fishing with buddies over at the pond, loves his Momma and his feet don’t stink and he loves JESUS…
