Biography
Jennifer Pratt-Walter is an American multi-instrumental folkartist, and has also recorded as a member of Celtic Muse (with Valerie Klemetti Blessley). She plays primarily Celtic harp, but also plays classical harp, recorder, piano, and dulcimer. Her musical style and various recordings focus mainly on Celtic, Early, light classical, and original styles. Jennifer also arranges and composes for harp, and has authored the instructional book “Hands Upon Harp”.
Pratt-Walter's recordings include “Ancient Realms” (solo 1998) , “Wind and Wood: A Sylvan Dance” (Celtic Muse – 1998), "Merry & Bright" (Celtic Muse – 2000), “Ancient Muse: Celtic Harp and Friends” (solo, with guests Harvey Clawson on piano and Alicia Vasey on viola - 2004), and "Crossroads" (Celtic Muse, 2009). Her 2011 solo work is "Ancient Slumbers: Celtic Harp for Healing and Peace".
