Biography

http://www.myspace.com/jennyhallam

Jenny Hallam is a singer-songwriter who has impressed audiences with what Andy O'Hare called "tinkling ivories and vocals to match".
She comes from a village in Worcestershire, but is now living in East London, studying at Queen Mary University. She has been played a lot on BBC Hereford and Worcester Introducing… Sessions, supported acts such as Daisy Dares You and Heads.Hearts as well as playing at West Midlands festival Westfest.
Her piano-pop style is difficult to categorize into a genre, creating a fusion of pop/folk/indie/jazz which makes it accessible to most audiences, and on second listenings allow the quirky youthful lyrics of a young english student, connect to those who truly want to listen. Alan McGee called it a "Kate Bush-meets-Kate Nash vibe, with the sort of youthful innocence that could only ever be cultivated in Herefordshire". This youthful innocence is what could be said to make this singer really stand out at her gigs in London, giving her an original fresh and comforting sound that everyone is searching for.

Now consists of Jenny Hallam, Jordon Robinson and Matt Campbell.
