This is such a lovely song. I love how it starts out as a funny anecdote then halfway through it changes into this heartfelt encouragement to his friend. "Don't let anyone stand in your way" is a perfect message.

In Swedish, his surname would sound like "Lake-moan" to an English speaker. In English, it's pronounced "Leck-min". "Jens", on the other hand, is pronounced the same way in Swedish and English.

Super though this is, if he'd lost the last minute after "Yours truly, Jens Lekman", it would be the perfect pop song. It's still excellent though.

Hilarious, charming, poignant, sweet, honest, beautiful, and catchy as hell... yes, this one is an all time favorite. And Cheesetrolly, yes... I love the "th" to "dh" impediment, it makes it all the more charming!

It's so strange how he sings/speaks with a perfect American accent but still has trouble with his 'th' sounds. Not that I care, I love this song.
