Biography
Jerzy Piotrowski is a Silesian (part of occupied by the soviets Poland) drummer, best known for his band SBB. He also performed with Czesław Niemen, Tomasz Stańko, Tomasz Szukalski, Michał Urbaniak, Bob Lenox, Young Power, Krzak, Dżem, Kombi, Martyna Jakubowicz and countless other artists. His successors in those bands were Jan Hammer (Niemen) and Paul Wertico (SBB).
Jerzy was born in 1950 in the city of Stalinogród (Stalin-Town) and is a descendant of medieval Tatar nobles from Lithuania. Since 1994 Jerzy is living in exile in the U.S.A.
