Meet Jo Ann Gray. Born and raised in Oakland, CA. She began writing in her early teens and continues to this day. She is poised to take the world by storm, two ears at a time with the birth of “Joetry” which she defines as Jo Ann’s poetry :: spoken word with an R&B twist.
Jo Ann Gray is on a mission to spread love across the world. Her unrelenting, and heavy hitting topics show that she is unafraid to push the limits in the exploration of sensuality, sexuality or love. Her writing centers around life circumstances, sex and love. Described as verbal soul food, and mood music for the gifted to get lifted, “Joetry” challenges you to keep it real as it makes you feel.
Jo Ann Gray is a free-spirited woman who marches to the beat of her own drummer. "I have always had a fascination with, and a love affair with love. I learned the hard way that life is too short, and that I must seize the moment." As evidenced by her adults only and family friendly marriages of words and music.
