I first heard this song in such a funny way - it was probably 2003 or 2004, I was in high school working at my small town's movie theater. This was in the "movie tunes" for months and I'd hear it cleaning theaters. Loved it pretty much immediately!

I've been trying to find this song for nearly 30 years! Had it in my head since I was a kid. Heard it on the radio today, and I remembered correctly, it's a tune!

Remember this was recorded off the radio on my Binatone cassette recorder on a C60 pink possibly Maxel tape, along with Elbow Bones and the Racketeers, Take me for a Night in New York.....and so too one day Spotify and Last.fm will be old hat.

It's a far cry from the Ted Mulry Gang song "Steppin' Out". And I don't mean it's better or worse, Only that it's different. I don't expect you may find that other song on here, But if you happen to be in Australia you might find the 1976 vinyl of it. And Joe Jackson does seem to have some pretty decent music, IMHO.

This really takes me back. One of the first 7'' singles I ever bought. Back back back in the day.
