Biography

Joe-E hails from the South West of the UK and is one of the fastest growing names in the EDM scene at current times. At the tender Age of 24, he has spent almost half of his life dedicated to both Production and DJing, this has led to numerous appearances at some of the best clubs in the UK and further afield such as Ibiza, Northern Ireland and Scotland playing alongside some of the biggest names in the scene and also has Tours lined up for Japan, Canada and more to be announced. Over the last few years Joe also gained residencies at two of the south west's leading club brands "After-Dark" and "Premonition" of which Joe played regularly for 3-4 years before deciding it was time to concentrate solely on his career as an international DJ and Producer.

With his ground-breaking crossover Tech-Dance and Hard Trance hybrid style, success has rocketed somewhat for Joe over the last few years, with releases on numerous labels around the world and gaining massive DJ support from the likes of Judge Jules (BBC Radio 1), Marco V, Marcel Woods, Eddie Halliwell, Yoji, Scot Project, Mark Sherry, A*S*Y*S, Kamui, Kutski (BBC Radio 1), K90, DJ Choose, FJ Project, Ernesto vs. Bastian, Fabio Stein, Nish, Remo-con, Vandall, Alex Kidd and Dr Willis to name just a handful. Having tracks frequently played on numerous radio stations such as BBC Radio 1 and reviews in some of the leading dance music magazines such as, DJ Mag, I-DJ and Mixmag.

2007/08 was a massive step for Joe and his career, this is an in angle which Joe has many ideas for the future and has already a huge following for his sound.
2007 seen the launch of an exciting new project for Joe, the "Trancefuzion Collective" together with label partner Kidd Kaos, they set up a brand new label also consisting of a series of sub labels aimed to inject a fresh and exciting new sound to the scene which is already the favorite label of many top DJs across the globe, the name just keeps growing and growing.

2009 was also a major step in Joe's carrier as he set up his very own imprint "Virus Audio" which is now a hugely respected label worldwide with nearing 20 releases and an equally impressive artist roster of some of the most quality producers in the scene at current times such as DJ Choose, Remo-com, Vandall, Nish, Kidd Kaos ,FJ Project, Louk, Joe-E, Will Atkinson, Mac and Taylor, Night Liberator, Stana and Killswitch to name just a few that are working with Virus Audio, This is for sure a label to be keeping an eye on!

2010 sees Joe Being signed to Riot!/Traffic Recordings and is also working hard on an Artist Album for the label. As well as this he has also had tracks signed to the Organ Donors Audio Surgery and Audio Re-Surge labels and also remixed for their Under the Knife Album on the legendary Nukleuz Records! Also keep an eye out for lots of new collaborations that Joe's going to be working on with artist such as Amber D, Kidd Kaos, Organ Donors, Neal Thomas, Vandall and loads more to be announced!

As well as all of this Joe also hosts his own 2 hour, monthly radio show "The Virus Sessions" which showcases all the brand new anthems each month and also includes a 60 minute guest mix from some of the best DJ's from around the globe. The show originally started broadcasting in 2008 on Slinky.FM and then in 2009 the show started airing as a subscribe-able podcast through iTunes. You can now tune into The Virus Sessions on the 1st Friday of every Month 19:00 - 21:00 GMT on Digitally Imported's Hard Dance Channel at DI.fm and is also available as a free download after the show has aired. Some of the recent guest mixes have come from top artists such as Organ Donors, Amber D, Remo-con, Reaky, Diablik, Killswitch, In2ition, Callum B, Andrea Montorsi, Swartz and Schulner, DJ Choose, Will Atkinson, Ram, Jordan Suckley Swartz and Schulner and FJ Project with lots more great guests lined up for the future episodes.

Being quoted by YOJI and Kutski on BBC Radio 1 plus many more as being one of the "leaders of the new school Tech-Dance sound" Joe is certainly one to be watching out for at the moment!
