There was a time, 2017-2020, where there was a radio station I listened to to and from school called Radio Norwich 99.9. On the way to school, and on the way home, this would come on approximately once a week and a half, along with a bunch of others. But this and Danny Wilson - Mary's Prayer, got me into real music. So thank you Rob Chandler, Steve Priestley, Robert Kennedy, and anyone else working at that station at that time, which I believe was derived from The Breeze. My music tastes are wide-ranging and broad thanks to you, and I'm not another pop listener.

Classic scene in the movie when Rob Lowe's character talks about St. Elmo's fire. I am a sailor so I have seen it. Don't chase after it. Great song and movie. I first saw it with a group of friends not much different than those in the film. Art imitates life sometimes.

"What is this, oh I know, your scuba suit"? "The welfare recipients are getting better looking". Rob Lowe had the best lines.

This is TOTALLY guilty-pleasure, it's a dreadful song, but it's so much fun. The 80s were chock-full of this stuff.

Every movie should use this song in a montage with random shots of jump roping, jogging, and triumphant fist raising
