Sanctuary

“Sanctuary” is the first single released by Joji following the release of Joji’s debut album "BALLADS 1". The word “sanctuary” refers to a safe place in a literal sense, but here Joji is calling his lover “the sanctuary.”

“Sanctuary” is a ballad song that features Joji’s melodic high pitched voice. The song depicts Joji’s emotions to a potential lover. The music video and cover artwork both interpolate imagery similar to the TV and movie series Star Trek.
