Juwana is a 4 piece punk rock band from Bunbury, Western Australia.
Our stage performances are exciting with a dynamic and powerful live sounds that have people wanting more.
Inspired by the incredible song writing talents of such bands as Blink 182, Greenday, RHCP and even U2, their epic song creations motivated us to pick up a guitar and write a song. We want to share the music we create in the hope that we may have the same effect on others.
We started off as a cover band playing in many pubs and clubs throughout 2007 & 2008. However the creative urge was too large to simply play covers and we began exploring our own song writing abilities. We now construct our own songs and believe our experiences have prepared us for live performances. We currently have 14 songs we play in our live set, with many more in the early creation stages.
Fresh from the recording studio in September 2010 and excited with what we have achieved, we hope to celebrate the release of our first EP in early 2011 with a promotional tour. Our expanding fan base is eagerly awaiting the release of the EP and we hope it will help take Juwana to the next level.
The excitement of a live crowd drives us to pick up a guitar, continue writing songs and explore new ideas, we feel with our passion and dedication we will create notable music and perform awesome live shows.
