K/DA (stands for Kills, Deaths and Assists) is a four-member girl group composed of avatars from the video game League of Legends: Ahri (Miyeon of (G)I-DLE), Akali (Jeon Soyeon of (G)I-DLE), Evelynn (Madison Beer) and Kai'Sa (Jaira Burns).
They debuted on November 3, 2018 with the digital single POP/STARS.
POP/STARS is a combination of music, video games, and digital marketing.
Riot Games premiered the group at the League of Legends 2018 World Championship in Incheon, South Korea. The four singers performed onstage alongside augmented reality projections of their avatars.
More than 200 million people watched the League of Legends Championship online. That's twice the viewership as the 2018 Super Bowl!
Within just four days, POP/STARS surpassed 20 millions views on Youtube.
On November 28, 2018 (a mere 25 days after its release!) the song had more than 28 million streams on Spotify.
August 27, 2020 : K/DA released their second music, The Baddest, produced by Riot Games League of Legends.
This time, Jeon Soyeon ((G)I-DLE) & Miyeon ((G)I-DLE) are featuring Wolftyla & Bea Miller.
