Biography

Kido Yoji is 21 year old disco producer from Tokyo, Japan. He started making music in 2009, his debut track “Won’t You Come Again” appeared on Kidz Rec 03 (compilation of 80Kidz) after he handed a demo to them at a show. It was also picked up for release by James Curd’s label, Greenskeepers.

Since then he’s been kept busy with remix work. Remixing acts such as CSS, Crystal Fighters and The Lowbrows. He’s also supported the likes of 2 Many Dj’s, Siriusmo (Monkeytown) and Tim Sweeney (DFA) at Club Nights in Tokyo. It’s pretty impressive considering he is still studying at University.

2011 saw the release of his debut EP, “Call a Romance” a collection of warm disco songs filled melodious synth and the groove. It’s the perfect music to heat you up on those cold winter nights.
