There's a reason this is my all-time (so far) favourite KT Tunstall track - it's one of the rawest tracks on the album, with gritty acoustic guitar (which sounds almost like it was recorded on a portable recorder in a bedroom late at night) and her trademark intimate vocals. Melancholy fingerpicked chords slowly evolve as drums and lone electric guitar pick an accompanying melody. Then, when the strings come in, slowly building to the breakdown before the final chorus; the slow swell and the building to the final wash of sound as it sweeps over you in an overwhelming, gloriously complex sonic delight. It never fails to raise the hairs on the back of my neck and give me the shivers, and often I have to listen to it several times in a row until I've had my fix! I love this tune, I love the songwriting, I love the orchestration and the arrangement, I love how it sweeps over you and takes you with it. Simply sublime songwriting.

How can anyone not love this song and KT. I mean really? If I only had one 1/10th of her talent.

Beautiful track! It's so cinematic! The swell at the end is really amazing, and it really reminds me of [track artist="Ray LaMontagne"]Within You[/track] by [artist]Ray LaMontagne[/artist].

This is probably my favourite track from this album - I always have one standout favourite, Another Place To Fall being my fave from Telescope. Everything about this track is just so right - the subject matter, the harmonies, interplay between vocals and guitar, the chord progressions, the overall instrumentation, the balance and mixdown, KT's delivery of the vocals and the the FX subtly applied at the final climax of the piece... The way it ebbs down to a mere trickle of a song after delivering the knockdown punch... It just works *so* *well*. This track is one of the few tracks I'll gladly listen to on repeat four, five, six times. Heart-achingly good music.
