The Kaláka music band was formed in 1969 in Budapest. The name "kaláka" means "work done together, helping each other out", originally applied to house building in Transylvania.

Becze Gábor: double-bass, guitar
Gryllus Dániel: flutes, zither, panpipe, clarinet, revealing, bagpipe
Gryllus Vilmos: cello, guitar, charango, lute, "doromb"
Radványi Balázs:mandolin, 12 string guitars, ukulele, cuatro, viola, kalimba
