Biography
Kally O'Mally is a versatile, singer/songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist in Northern California. Her 2013 release, Easy Money is available now on all major music distribution sites, itunes, CDBaby, Amazon.com. Come along as we head to Vegas for some Easy Money and the hope of a big win. We'll stop in the diner outside of Memphis and chat with the waitress and busboy in Stay Awhile. Then we'll head down to Texas and try to avoid the floods and thunderstorms. Then it's back into the California Heartland. Big harmonies, thick string sections and fun horn parts are all featured in this release.
In addition to writing traditional lyric based music she also produces instrumental music, electronica and music for film and television. She was born in Ashland, KY and raised in Miami Florida. Growing up in South Florida was pivotal for her exposure to a large variety of musical styles. She attended Miami Dade, New World School of the Arts and Florida State University. She worked for a short time at the Blue Bird Cafe in Nashville after graduating college. She currently resides in Sacramento, CA where she fronts a 5 piece band and produces new material.
