I don't really have anything clever or smart to say here, I just really like this album.

This album is empire. The album shows the quality and talent of Sergio's songwriting and how Kasabian as a unit can diversify into something slightly different however, there are elements of the first album mixed in there (see I Hear Voices) and other tracks that feature retro synthesisers which make a warm welcome return. Despite that though, I can't help feeling nostaligic and sad that Chris Karloff isn't with the band anymore however, this doesn't detract from Sergio, the band and their newer stuff.

@XJ220RACER: Thank you, you said what I was coming here to say. Even though Velociraptor! is decent and there's a few good songs (especially Re-Wired), I think they lack the energy present on, mainly, the debut album, and the second one. They hit so fucking hard! When WRPLA came I had moved on from Kasabian, so I never gave it a listen apart from the song Fire, that did sound good. Man, I think I should give that album another listen. Anyways, thought I'd check out what they were up to now, but this album doesn't really meet my expectations.
