Kentucky AFC (previously The Cacan Wy Experience) was a Welsh rock and roll band established in late 2002 by Endaf Roberts (voc, gtr) (later Endaf Presli), Huw Owen (bass) (later Mr Huw), Gethin Evans (later in Genod Droog). The band recorded their debut 'bodlon' single for r-bennig records in 2003 and the follow-up 'Outlaw / 11' the same year recorded by producer Gorwel Owen (Super Furry Animals and Gorky's/Euros Childs). Both singles won awards for single of the year at the Welsh Music Awards and the Radio Cymru RAP Awards respectively. The band released two records with Boobytrap Records, their self-titled debut album and then 'iasobe?' live E.P which was recorded by Matth Key of The Keys. The band recorded sessions for Radio 1 and Radio Wales and featured in the legendary John Peel's last ever festive fifty.
