Biography
Kerosene Club aka dj Brian was born in Goa in 1976, but lived all his life in Mumbai.
His Musical Inspirations is deeply rooted in his childhood, where he was exposed to all kinds of musical styles. Though he began experimenting with music and djing since'96,Club and Techno culture never really inspired him it was ironical he found that solace and the drive in underground death metal scene (being a guitar player), heavily influenced by metal bands But that reached saturation point, with the stagnancy of the City's metal scene at that time. By end of'97, Goa trance filled in for the void created and soon he start channelising his energies in this developing underground culture. He soon started spinning at small parties on outskirts of Bombay and Goa. By end of 2000, he quit his advertising job and he got full time into as trance dj and Composer. As his maxim goes "Nothing in life is good or bad, It's just in the mind and it's perceptions", so is it even with his music, and loves playing long hours, longer the better. He loves to play a complete range from dark twisted psy tunes to full blown power morning music. He is one helluva of psy hunter, always on prowl for fresh psy supersonic gems around the world and experimenting with them on the dancefloor, in places like Goa, Delhi, Chennai, Bombay and Clubs. Besides a Label dj & A&R and compiling compilations for Paradiso recs and working from home base at Paradiso studios, he is all set with his solo Projects Kerosene Club and Stomp to hit the releases marquee with releases on the Paradiso Records, Beyond Logic Records and few more labels and a Kerosene Club Album by end of 2005.
