“Corpus Christi” is the first song off of Kevin Abstract’s Ghettobaby EP, and the fourth track off of the ARIZONA BABY album. It’s named after the city in Texas where Abstract grew up.
Abstract touches on some reoccurring topics like being ridiculed by family, and friends, his childhood, and feeling like he’s let the people he cares about down. It’s also the first time Abstract mentions former BROCKHAMPTON member Ameer Vann by name since his departure in May, 2018.
During his #THE1999 live stream, Abstract said Corpus Christi is his favorite song he’s ever written.
