Super enjoyable album, I thought. Went into it with pretty low expectations, but it was a breeze to listen to.

Common Cudi W. First impressions, it's much better than Entergalactic but not as good as MOTM3. I think this album showcases his rapping ability better than any if his other work. Some of the hooks are weak, but overall a very enjoyable album with many bangers

Really loved this album but very conflicted on how to feel about it knowing Cudi could be so much more unique

After over a week with this album, I'd say as of right now I'm really enjoying it. It was understandably an adjustment given Cudi has never made a record that sounds remotely similar to this style, but I'm here for this new direction of Cudi. He's clearly having fun and making music that is fun and enjoyable for him, I'm really proud of him for reaching a point in his life where such happy sounds and vibes from him could even exist. It's an easy listen in the sense it doesn't require your full and immediate attention to digest more insightful and absorbing content like you'll find in his MotM series (and its various spinoffs, i.e. JtMM, SB2H, PP&DS, etc) and that's fine with me. Cudi put it best in his recent Zane interview that this is his version of "Indicud" for his new direction in life and I feel like this is its unintentional spiritual successor.

My main initial gripe was the X collab given it's essentially a Cudi remix of Orlando, but I came around to it given Cudi's amazing verse and his performance on the remix overall. After watching the Zane interview, he really put where he was coming from when making this song into perspective and allowed me to be more understanding as to why it even exists. I'd say as of rn to me Insano is like a 7.5/10 and I'm not exactly sure where I'd rank it in his discography yet tbh

Listen, listen...I get it, the word mid is overused and an easy replacement for actual criticism but seriously, this is mid
