Wiki
11 instrumental progressive rock, country and jazz fusion pieces. Solid, snappy drums and inventive bass lines with complex guitar backing melodies with keyboard strings; a series of motifs - sections of creative melodic passages and distinctive sax riffs and solos. The majority of the tracks feature Raphael Ravenscroft - of 'Baker Street' (Gerry Rafferty) fame - on sax. Each track began life as a drums and bass recording and was subsequently built upon with guitars and keyboard. The finished complex mix is fuller and more finely recorded than the Hunters of the Moment album. There are many various sections of interest which make 'No Cure for Turbulence' ideal library material as well as for regular listening.
