There are several acts named Kojak.

1. A artist who released on the "Intelligent Recordings" label. He was also part of Soul Hypnotist, project together with Tom B., they also made music as Tom B & Kojak.

2. Kojak is a hardcore band from Roanoke, VA. They began with Jason (bass, vocals), Bill (bass, vocals), and George (drums) in 1996. Jason moved to Richmond,VA in 1997, taking with him the name. The line-up in Richmond was Jason (bass, vocals), Barry (drums) and Adam (guitar, vocals) up until 2000, when Adam left, and John moved in on guitar. The three trudged on until deciding to call it quits in 2003. Bill went on to do Atomatron (later called Hallelujah!) in 2001 after moving to Richmond himself and doing a brief stint across the country as Kojak's roadie. George went on to live in a double-wide trailer somewhere in southwest Virginia. Adam went on to do Stop It!, among other things. Jason and Barry joined forces with Chris and started The Amoeba Men. John went on to join The Bunny Rabbits. All's well that ends well.

3. Electronic music by Gregoire (Gregoire Galian) & DJ Vas (Cyril Vaschetto). On their first album Crime in The City (1998) it's a mix of french house, hip hop and jazzy soul. On their second album Every Room on Every Floor (2003) there's more breakbeat and electro influences, with several hired female vocalists. The album never quite took off to match the relative success of the first release and it's been quiet around Kojak eversince.

Around 2000 Gregoire and DJ Vas released solo records, on NEKKO an Pro-Zak Trax labels.

4. In 2006 four ARMY brats raised in weird parts of the world (Ethiopia, Panama, Germany and L.A.) got together in Germany and recorded “Simply Complicated” a demo with 4 songs full of silly melodies, angry guitars, and lots of Punk rebellion. After the songs reached the top of many Indie charts around the world, MTV signed them to a licensing deal for several reality shows; Wade Norton of the famous NRG studios (Korn, Incubus, Linkin Park) recorded and produced their new release, “A Radar for Karma” and they even sparked the interest of famous U2 producer Steve Lillywhite, who gave them a hand during the mixing of the track Holding on.

5. An alternate name for reggae musician Nigger Kojak.
