I feel like this is the peak of the more modern-day Kreator. They try replicating this album since its release. 9/10

That's my favorite of Kreator. Really amazing mix of thrashing, beating, screaming and melody.

Good album. I personally like the modern-thrash era of Kreator, and think they do it quite well. However, I do enjoy Hordes of Chaos and Phantom Anti-Christ even more than this and Violent Revolution, as they are a bit faster, and Mille screams harder and more energetically on the latter albums. However, all criticism aside, this albums still does kick ass.

Enemy of God is dope. is better than the latter two. and probably the best for me during in 90s and 2ks.

@Nocturnalpriest - you like the old stuff, other people like the new stuff, get over it, Kreator has survived and keeps making awesome music.

Talk whatever you want but Kreator does not have a bad album. Even their different four albums in the ninetees are good. Actually their third period in 2000's is very good. Good old thrash mixed with melody in some times. I'd think usually that it's a shitty combination, but Kreator do it right.

@NocturnalPriest: That it's "true, honest, with the rage and energy of youth..." doesn't necessarily justify it's reputation. It may be "brutal", but that doesn't attest to it's quality. In terms of influence, I would say the album deserves much praise, however, I would also say that in terms of variety and musicianship, Enemy of God is vastly superior.

@KoRnish-san: "overrated Pleasure to Kill" made me LOL. How can you write such stupid things ? Listen to the records of these years and you'll understand that "pleasure to kill" was one of the most brutal albums of its time. It's truly one of the best brutal thrash albums of the eighties: true, honest, with the rage and energy of youth, it doesn't get better that this. "Enemy of God" sounds like bad swedish death metal in comparison...even if it has its moments, I find it to be extremely disappointing for such a famous oldschool thrash band. It's this album (and its horrible predecessor) that made me stick to the old ones and stop bothering about their new stuff.
