Biography
Kripke's Basement was a short lived Alternative Rock band from the small south Texas town of Beeville formed in early 2005. The Band was the brainchild & formed by Scott Stone (guitar/vox) & Billy Daniels (vox). The group originally consisted of Stott Stone-Guitar/Vox, Billy Daniel -Vox/Guitar, Adam Kadelic- Bass/backup, & Steven Flores (of Fuck the Main$tream/Full Scale Riot/Seed) -Drums. It was this line up that went on to record the rare debut EP EXCIDO INGENIOSUS CONGELIUM for South Texas Indie record label Fuck the Main$tream Records. The first single from the record was "ginseng" which quickly became a crowd favorite. The line up played a handful of shows before internal differences arose and Adam parted ways with the band. Fellow musician & friend of the band Max Keller (The Bloodies/Toxi Traumatic/Fuck the Main$tream) joined the band initially as a temp bassist for a few shows then became a full-time memeber. The band wrote a new song & played a few more shows, before ultimately taking a brief hiatus and then deciding it best to disband. Though their time as a band was short they managed to amass pretty loyal following, sell a decent amount of cd's, get some press, and genuinely entertain anyone who would listen. The band officially announced their disbandment Friday, April 21st 2006 - merely a little more then after a year of forming. Even though their time was short as a band they managed to effect a great deal of people with their unique brand of upbeat Alternative Rock and make a nice little name for themselves in the process.
