Recorded in January 2004 in the “Chalet” studio (Bordeaux), this fifth brand new album, “Vibe Disciple”, is the first one written with eight hands (4 musicians). The introduction of guitars is a determining aspect, shaping the sound of this opus. If the rhythm section remains resolutely dub in its most massive form, the electro parts are close to a certain approach of hip-hop, if not the tortured break-beat of Photek. The apparition of vocals sublimates some tracks, and let them move in the direction of a more introspective dub, or even trip-hop, always with an explosive elegance.
