The Chilinga is a popular school of percussion that was founded in 1995 and is dedicated to the study, research and implementation of various African-American rhythms like Candombe, Uruguayan and Argentinian, Brazilian Samba Reggae, and March Murga Rioplatenses and touches of Makuta, Bembe, Rumba, Columbia, Abakua, Son, Candomblé and other music composed and created in-house. .
