My favorite Lamb of God album! This one totally rules! It was the first Lamb of God album I listened to.

This album was a 10/10 before the remaster, now it's a higher level of beastly. Superb.

The production on the remix sounds so fucking good, especially the kicks, snare, and bass guitar. Definitely did solid justice for the killer songs.

Is there a bad song on this record? Fuck no. It still turns me into an angry teenager.

@ossum Apart from the fact that Darkthrone, Bathory, and others like them, had a raw and often dynamic analogue sound, whilst this album has a raw digitally recorded sound. I don't know about others opinions, but shitty digital recordings tend to suck in my opinion. Raw sound/productions work better for albums that was recorded analogously, and not brick-walled. Just listen to any old 80's band, heavy, thrash or speed metal, and those albums always sound much better no matter how raw they are, compared to albums like this one. This is, however, a very good album musically.

The production is bad to lamb of God fans because many prefer their high gain brickwalled sound...this sounds more like studio jamming. I actually agree on the poor production, this was before Devin TOwnsend could mix well...lots of treble.

@Peace_Sells86 They are remastering and remixing it for a re-release. The new "Purifed" sounds great IMO. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cGkq0pRJ94U

Easily my favorite LOG album. Yes the production is raw and unpolished but that is part of what gives this album its charm :)

I used to REALLY want this album to be remastered, but now I could care less. I love the rawness.

Thanks, Devin Townsend [2] This album has so pure sounds, kick ass rhythms and the most flawless songs of LOG, so I consider this to be their best release!

I love the dirty sounding production on this one, and most of the songs are just so groovy that I never get tired of them. It has to be one of their most underrated albums.

Mightning, the production is beautiful. Wish they'd do another album this style, but I doubt it.

Wrath is shit compared to this, why didn't they keep making albums like this instead ;<

Love it, but certainly needs remastering to the standards of ashes of the wake, sacrament and wrath imo.

Weak production, it's not even raw it has no strength to it, I wish they'd remaster this, it's especially disappointing because Devin Townsend known for his amazing production produced this. What happened Devy?

I don't like the rough and terrible production. It works for Slayer, Megadeth and such thrash bands, but not for Lamb Of God imo. :/
