Well known for their crushing and emotive live performance, Latitudes presents a one-of-a-kind amalgamation of explosive sludge, atmospheric black metal, and haunting shoegaze. Keeping a balance between emotive depth, raw fury, and technical virtuosity, Latitudes are a tour-de-force both on and off the stage. The band was formed in 2006 in London, and has been consistently pushing the boundaries of the genre with their unique blend of atmospheric, heavy and intricate music.

In 2007, Latitudes released their debut EP "Bleak Epiphanies in Slow Motion" which received critical acclaim and helped establish the band as one to watch in the UK metal scene. The EP showcased the band's technical proficiency and penchant for creating moody and atmospheric soundscapes.

The following year, the band released their debut full-length album "Agonist" on the label Shelsmusic. The album featured longer and more complex songs, which cemented the band's reputation for their progressive approach to metal. The album was well-received and helped the band gain international recognition.

Over the next several years, the band released two more albums, "Individuation" in 2012 and "Old Sunlight" in 2016, both of which received critical acclaim and further solidified the band's status as one of the UK's premier progressive metal acts.

Throughout their career, Latitudes has toured extensively in Europe, playing festivals and sharing stages with some of the biggest names in metal. Latitudes have played alongside the likes of Carcass, Baroness, Minsk, A Storm Of Light, *Shels and many more. Their live shows are known for their intensity, with the band delivering their intricate compositions with precision and power.
