Biography
Le Blonde, a Brooklyn based indie-duo, first came on the scene last year when their debut single, a cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “Sisters of the Moon,” and their not yet released song, “The Voices” were used for Carolina Herrera’s Spring 2013 Show during New York Fashion Week. Subsequently, Colette Paris chose Le Blonde’s “Sisters of the Moon” to open their Best of Fashion Week compilation, Sound of The Season Vol. 2, alongside Depeche Mode, David Lynch, Grimes, Kraftwerk, etc. Recognized for their haunting sound, Le Blonde was later asked to compose the teaser for the television series Bates Motel on A&E. Most recently, Le Blonde has just completed their remix of Au Revoir Simone’s “Crazy” for ARS’s forthcoming remix album. Fashion designer, Bibhu Mohapatra used Le Blonde’s most recent singles “Peacock” and “Let it Burn” for his Spring 2014 show during New York Fashion Week. As a result, the band was featured by MTV for MTV Style’s - Behind the Runway Music.
